WELCOME TO BRACIS 2025

The 35th Brazilian Conference on Intelligent Systems (BRACIS), the 22nd National Meeting on Artificial and Computational Intelligence (ENIAC), the 19th Brazilian Symposium in Information and Human Language Technology (STIL) and the XIX Workshop-School on Agents, Environments, and Applications (WESAAC)  will take place in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, from September 29 to October 2, 2025.

BRACIS is one of the most important scientific events in Brazil for researchers seeking to publish significant and novel results in Artificial and Computational Intelligence. It emerged from the merger of the country’s two leading AI-related conferences: the Brazilian Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (SBIA), held for 22 editions, and the Brazilian Symposium on Neural Networks (SBRN), held for 13 editions. Organized annually by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC), BRACIS is supported by its special interest groups in Artificial Intelligence (CEIA) and Computational Intelligence (CEIC). The event promotes both theoretical advances and practical applications, fostering the exchange of ideas among researchers, practitioners, scientists, and industry professionals.

ENIAC (Encontro Nacional de Inteligência Artificial e Computacional) serves as a national forum for researchers, practitioners, educators, and students to present and discuss innovations, emerging trends, practical experiences, and ongoing research in Artificial and Computational Intelligence.

The 2025 editions of BRACIS and ENIAC will once again be organized as a joint event. STIL and WESAAC will be co-located with BRACIS and ENIAC.

STIL (Brazilian Symposium in Information and Human Language Technology) is a multidisciplinary conference encompassing a wide range of areas related to Human Language Technologies, including Linguistics, Computer Science, Psycholinguistics, and Information Science. It aims to bring together academic and industry professionals working in these intersecting fields.

WESAAC (Workshop-School on Agents, Environments, and Application) aims to integrate researchers and students at all levels in Agents and Agent Systems and publicize the activities of the various research groups in Brazil, enabling the exchange of knowledge and experiences.

For the second time, BRACIS, and its co-located events, will also be held in conjunction with SBBD (the 40th Brazilian Symposium on Databases) and KDMiLe (Symposium on Knowledge Discovery, Mining, and Learning).

We look forward to welcoming you to Fortaleza!
